Hi, I’m Celeste Jacobs, an Intermediate Phase teacher with a passion for practical, engaging learning.

I created Teacher Gems ZA because I know, first-hand, how challenging it can be to find educational resources that are affordable, durable, and actually work in a real classroom. As a teacher, I’ve spent countless hours planning lessons, organising classrooms, and adapting materials to meet the needs of diverse learners—and that experience shapes every product I offer.

I carefully select and create teaching aids, classroom décor, writing tools, organisers, arts and crafts materials, and teacher gifts that support hands-on learning and positive classroom environments. All resources are chosen with the South African curriculum in mind and are especially suited to the Intermediate Phase, while remaining flexible enough for other phases and home learning.

I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and accessible. My goal is to support teachers, parents, and schools with teacher-tested resources that make teaching easier and learning more enjoyable.
